Insurance Pre-Cert Coordinator
DEFINITION:
Verifies all insurance benefits and obtains insurance authorizations/pre-certifications for surgeries and braces.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent GED and one year of related experience and/or training. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to compute rate and percents. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems. Basic knowledge of health insurance plans.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
Experience in Medical Business Office setting
